Got the car aligned finally (thanks Steve). As soon as it gets warm again, I would like to hit the drag strip.

I am a little nervous because I have never ran but I am interested in knowing what my truck does prior to upgrades. When? Where? and How much will it cost? Also maybe some track pointers. I am no racer.

I think I would be down for a 1/4 mi. run or two... I am a little nervous because I have never ran but I am interested in knowing what my truck does prior to upgrades. When? Where? and How much will it cost? Also maybe some track pointers. I am no racer. When - I suppose whenever you would like to go sir... lol. I did want to try and run this year, but hard with it being cold. Maybe If we get another warm weekend we could squeeze a few passes in, otherwise I might wait until early next year... Where - Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie Cost - Typically I think you can go to their "test and tune" events and pay $20-$30 to run "x" number of passes, or sometimes it is unlimited passes within a certain time frame... Track Pointers - I would probably say the best thing to remember is to relax, there isn't really much to it... Just stay calm, line up, and when the light turns green, hit the gas and don't let up until you cross the line... I was incredibly nervous my first time, but then you pop your cherry and you end up going back for seconds... LOL

I would say early next year is probably better.

I think they close the track down for the winter for test and tune.
