I've got a 2003 BMW M3 that's lowered, has rims, dark tint, exhaust, pulleys, strut bars, and not much else. My last car was a 400hp GSX, and before that I built a '72 Nova. I can work on anything and I'm looking for a group to chill and talk about cars, work on them, go to shows, and generally meet people who know more about cars than what they saw in a commercial. I would show my car but it is a daily driver so I can't keep it that nice.

sounds nice, we just had a car club meeting last night, and we have an upcoming show on the 2nd and 3rd of april. we'd love to see it in person though. if you would like to meet, let us know and maybe we could setup a special meet, being that we don't have another car club "meeting" until april 30th. we meet every 2 weeks, but we are going to 2 shows back to back and won't be at our usual meeting spot for a while. keep us posted, car sounds nice.

Sounds very nice. Would love to see it. like Steve said.... won't have another meeting til April 30th due to car shows falling on our normal meet times. You're more than welcome to ride with us to the shows and hang out. Our hotel rooms are already booked so you would have to sleep on the floor or a cot, or get your own room unfortunately. If not, you can come on up to our meeting in April.
My car is also a daily driver. It's hard to keep clean, but it can be done.
Hope to see you around....

Cool, I'd definitely like to meet up with you guys. I may be able to get up early Saturday and head over to the meet in the morning. Do you have your own area at the show, or is everybody just running around solo? I, personally, build my cars to run fast first, look good second, which is not the most conducive to showing them off, but the current car is so close to stock it's not like you'd notice either way. Once I put a supercharger on it then maybe I'll start pulling parts off and chroming them. Here's a couple pictures of my M3: i42.photobucket.com/albums/e309/CarterNova72/IMG_0049.jpgi42.photobucket.com/albums/e309/CarterNova72/IMG_0051.jpgI have a pair of ceramic coated headers waiting to go on the car. Is there a hobby shop anywhere in the area where you can rent a lift and/or specialty tools? Carter

Well, our meets our at 8PM on Saturdays. And our next is not until April 30TH. If you want to meet a few us before then, we can arrange a special time like Steve said. Or you can come with us to the show. It's in North Carolina. We always park together at the shows. Not really a designated area at most shows. Some shows you can reserve spots in buildings or particular peices of land. We usually just arrive and fall in line with the rest.

I think Saturday any time would be fine if you guys want to meet up. Where do you suggest we go?
I put some parts that I'm ebay'ing on the parts section. I don't know if anybody here has a DSM but that's what they're for.

I think Saturday any time would be fine if you guys want to meet up. Where do you suggest we go? ~Carter Not sure if you saw my response a few days ago, so i'll repost just in case. Meeting at Virginia Solar Tinting on Hull Street is usually a good location for most people. Depends on where you live though. Let me know if thats not good for you and we can see about finding somewhere else. By the way, if you dont want to use up time on your Saturday, we added another meeting in between our upcoming shows. It will be April 9th. If you wanna meet then instead of this Saturday, that would be fine. Let me know.

I live in the Fan, so Hull St.'s not too bad for me. I'm pretty much free to meet up any Saturday, as I work 9-5. I'll plan on meeting you guys on the 9th then.
