Hey Guys, My name is Bryan and I would like to get more info. on joining your car club. I have an 08 mugen civic (The real one), and I have done quite a few upgrades. New sound system in 2010 with all JL audio competition speakers and Fiberglass sub box with tv monitor in trunk. Powered by Pioneer Touch Screen Rec/GPS and 900 watt JL audio mini amp with capacitor. Right now the car is at Tempest Racing getting Full Race Turbo Kit with 62mm precision turbo tial waste gate/blow-off valve 3" custom exhaust 6 puck clutch kit with custom Aurora valve covers and gun metal powder coated piping. We will probably tune it to about 400hp+/-. Also have security system, tinted windows, clear bra front end mirrors and front lip, windshield visor and few other small features. I was hoping to come to the show you all were attending sat. but looks like my car wont be ready til Monday. I have been looking for a club to show with and you guys have some nice rides.........let me know when we could talk about the details!
Thanks, Bryan C.

Hey Bryan, Thanks for your interest. We're always on the look out for new members. Sounds like you have a great ride. Would love to see it. The Mugens are real nice. I'd be glad to answer any questions that you have about us or the club. I suggest reading some of my posts on the following thread as i've addressed some questions from another member that you might also have: absoluteprivate.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Joining&thread=331&page=1#1627We also have our basic info on our website under the "About Us" section. I know these two things won't answer all of your questions, so let me know any that you may have and i'll answer them as soon as possible.

Love to check it out. We are attending a local charity show this saturday in colonial heights. Your welcome to come if you would like. It would give us a chance to check out your ride in person and give you a chance to take a look at ours. Let us know if you would like to attend or show with us and we can fill you in on the details. Sounds like you've put a lot of work into your car, we'd love to see it in person. We would have had a meeting on the 11th but we will be in ocean city MD for a show that weekend. Hope to see you before then, but if not hopefully we can catch you at the next meeting! Thanks for your interest in joining!

Thanks for the quick response!! I am coming to Richmond Sat. for the east coast honda meet. Starts at 12:00 at the go cart track. I wont have my car its wont be ready til monday, however I would like to come by and hang out before I go to the meet. Would that be ok? Sucks..... my car is not ready been 3 weeks, feels like I lost my best friend!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lot off custom work to keep factory look and not cut ANYTHING. Even re-used mugen exaust tip and shoe box size inter-cooler to keep it "sleepin". What time does the show start? I am about 40 miles from Richmond, not real familiar with colonial Heights, do you meet somewhere before you go?

Lee is correct. Meet at VST at 8AM to drive together to the show that starts at 9AM. You can either meet us at VST or at the show. Whatever is best for you. Unfortunately, I have to work Saturday, so I won't get the chance to meet you. But my car will be there and i'll be there in spirit haha.

very nice to meet you today. Can't wait to see the mugen in person. Hope the honda show was good, we decided we wouldn't have time to make it out to the show in richmond after lunch and all that good stuff.... Todays show was a little rough being mostly classics. Not all the shows we attend are like that. It was really nice meeting you, and i hope we see you at the meeting on the 25th!

sucks about missing at 7000rpm. Hope the upgraded fuel pump takes care of that for you. I think if i got my civic up to 7000rpm without throwing a rod bearing i would be happy. Okayyyy, maybe an over exaggeration, but 7300rpm and im sure i would be shopping for a motor. Can't wait to see the mugen in person!
