It looks like it is very vague in the description, at least for the link that was posted. I did not put in the car specifics though.
How much of a drop is it?
Do you want to replace the shocks and all the mounts? (you can just replace the springs to lower the car) Ordering new springs can be less expensive and are not terribly difficult to install if you have a spring compression tool. I have one if you need it.
Are you looking for something stiff that will improve cornering, or would you just like it to be lowered and still somewhat comfortable to ride in?
There are so many suspension systems and setups out there the possible configurations are endless.... It all depends on what you want. Be more specific when you are looking for something, figure out exactly what you want it to be like and then finding the right product is easy. Lowering a car usually isn't all that expensive, unless of course your talking about air bags.. lol.
Replacing just the springs can be cost effective and give you the look that you are going for, the kit that you posted in the link doesn't even give an exact drop height. Personally I have never heard of Ground Force, but they might be ok. I had Tien drop springs on my car and I loved them, they had a progressive spring rate which kept them soft until they were under heavy load. Other members in our club have used eibach springs and really liked them too. Just make sure that before you spend the money, know what you really want and whether or not the kit you are buying will be money well spent. Taking the time to figure out what you want and doing the product research before buying will save you time and money later, getting what you really wanted in the first place.
In my opinion, replacing all the shocks and mounts is pointless unless you are trying to increase the handling of the car in corners. If that is the case then be prepared to spend some serious cash, as good "racing" shocks and struts can be very expensive, upwards of $1000 in some cases.
I would be happy to help you find a set that will fit your needs that is cost effective, just let me know exactly what you would like out of them.
Example: I would like to lower my car 2 inches. I would like it to still feel comfortable and not too stiff while driving. Not interested in racing, just going for the lowered look...
***Make sure that your car can be lowered to your desired height before ordering, measuring the gap between the tire and the wheel well USUALLY can give you a good idea of how much you can drop it without rubbing..***

i was under the impression that in order to have a completely smooth ride i needed to replace the stock shocks and everything else. but just springs was always an option. any sites or places i can go to window shop for the corrected springs. i know a few sites myself. just wanted more than the more normal

The body kit looks great. I like that it is clean and simple and makes the car look a lot lower. Nice choice! Dan has the contact information for the guy that has done paint/bodywork for us before. He does an amazing job. I think his name is Wayne and he works at Integrity.. Dan would know more. A little pricey but well worth the finished product!!
The headlights look nice too. I love a clean set of halo projectors. Should be easy to install.. This would be something that would be fairly easy to do at home too. Let me know if you need any help and I'm sure we could get it done..
As far as the suspension, it all depends on what you buy, when you would like to have it installed etc... Personally, I would probably get the body kit on first and then take your measurements, that way you know exactly how low you can go. The kit will be lower than your factory kit, and if you go too low then put the kit on, you could end up damaging it before you even get out of the body shop parking lot.
I would be happy to talk to you in person at the next meeting about some more idea's and strategy on the best way to do these mods, as they are all things that we have done before. We have all made mistakes and learned from them, maybe we could pass a little knowledge your way and you won't have to go through the same thing...

hell yeah man. sounds great, ive been eye sexing that bodykit and lights since i located them. like you said with the suspension, i wanted to go ahead and wait to get them due to the bodykit being a lower look. i know right now i can drop the front atleast 1.8 and the back at the max 2.0. theres a rather deep tire weld so my measurements may be a lil off. not a rocket scientist, im a car freak.
we can definitely hook up at the next meeting or if you have some extra time, a call or text or something. ill be moving things over to my new apartment today, so my phone will definitely be on me at all times. ive lost cell phones moving from one place to another.

Sucks about the loosing phones thing. my wife's cat took my phone and hid it from me once. (seriously) As for the extra time, that something that I am rarely in possession of, but we can talk about the mods at the next meeting at the latest. Good luck with your move!
