Well i remember when i first got my license there were hangout spots.. where it was like a carshow but a social event. Not much of the wild racing cuz cops was in the way. When it was time to move we rolled in groups. Is there a such thing anymore as somewhere to jus hangout. There's not much of that anymore that I know of. There's a couple groups here and there throughout Central va, but none that I know roll together. There's one group in chester that meets on Saturdays but they dont cruise unless they are gonna race.

Many people this time of year have their cars under construction. The nitro gets garaged every weekend for work preparing for the show season.

If I was off I'd be down to come hang out. In chester, they usually hangout behind the McDonalds and behind Applebee's parking lot. A lot of nice rides, but some of the people there are cocky know it all teenagers, which is why I kinda avoided going. But, there are some that are relatively nice. I'd check it out if I were you. Other than that, I dont know of any other meet ups around town other than TA on Saturdays

Also, they usually meet up around 8-9 so that'd be the time to go. A lot of nice cars though. BMWs, mustangs, camaros, Hondas, acuras, Mazda's....pretty much all major manufacturers. Last time I stopped by with the Datsun there was about 50 cars, so it's definitely worth going.
