I liked Mark's idea of a build thread for one's vehicle, so I decided to make my own. My first order of business, I ordered some smoked out reverse lamps and smoked out front bumper reflectors today. Should both be here before the OC Show. Will post installation pics as soon as I get them in. This is what I ordered.......

It's a little late, but here are some pics of the tear down and installation of the smoked lights... I was able to sneak a wrench up in the bumper so no disassemble was required, but here's the after pic... Got frustrated at this point with the bumper. Took a liitle while for me to figure out how all the slides and clips worked. So here is a pic without the bumper lol... Now all cleaned up... The new lights are only held in by 2 screws, didn't take pics of that. I just wanted everything back in so I could see what she looks like... Now all buttoned up minus the wheels... Not completely happy with both sets of lights. They will be blacked out further in the future.

isn't that how it always is?? lol, you have to tear half of the car apart for something that seems so simple. Nice work Dan, looks like a pain to install but i like the lights... they looked a bit darker in person...

Today, Steve and I attempted to Plasti-Dip my wheels and grille. Good thing about Plasti-Dip is if you mess up, you can peel it right off and start over again (we had to do this by the way, so we can confirm this). Plus, there is absolutely NO prep work involved. Since there is no prep work, I only provided before and after pics. Before: After: Forgot to take a picture of the grille, but yall have seen that black before. Hopefully this stuff lasts a good while.

From what I hear it will need a touch up every three months. I love that stuff.

I was actually pretty impressed with it myself. I almost didn't believe that it would just peel right off but sure enough it did, and you couldn't even tell it was ever even on there. Looks good on the car Dan, I think it's definitely and improvement over the "factory" look.

So this is the beginning of my Eibach Pro Alignment Kit installation. A fella I work with is helping me install the parts in his spare time, hence why it is taking so long . Here are the pics of what we have going on so far. It's mostly the tear down... What i'm installing (this is only the front A-arm, also installing rear links as well): On the alignment rack to get the specs prior to installing the camber kit: This is what happens when your car is too low and you have LED's underneath : Wheels off and everything loosened and ready to be pulled out: More to come in a few weeks...

Poor led's... Glad your getting the alignment fixed.
"Properly" lowering a car is never as easy as putting on some new springs... Nice work on making it legit!

Time to start tearing her down again so I can get the front side markers, tail lights, and rear turn signal lamps smoked out. The headlights will have their lenses removed, the housing will be painted matte black, and then put back together. I am leaving the center piece around the bulb silver. I have contemplated orange. Give me ya'lls opinion on that. Here is a pic of what i'm talking about. Now for the tear down: Headlights before: Out of work sick today with the flu I think, so I didn't really feel like starting the back. Might do it later tonight but I'll probably take the day off tomorrow and finish it up. I'll post more pics tomorrow and the final product next week hopefully. Unfortunately, I won't have my car for the first meeting.
